My main purpose for starting this community is to help drive engagement on Lemmy. With that said, there's been some bumps in the road, specifically with live threads due to my lack of knowledge on some of the nuances of federation. Some users wanted to participate, but there appeared to be no discussion taking place in the live thread due to no one from their home instance being subscribed to the community. If your home instance isn’t lemmy.world, and there are no subscribers from your home instance to the Watch Party community, no post comments will populate. Be sure to subscribe to the Watch Party community if you plan on participating in the live thread discussions, so that you can see everyone’s comments.
