No lie. Conceptually this sounds exactly like the makings of one their episodes. Bet it would be a banger too.

Imma go re-watch that one asap. Heard the new season is kinda weak which is a bummer. You had a chance to catch it?
I did, the new season was... different. Some episodes were what I've come to expect from BM, some were not at all. Beyond The Sea was an excellent traditional BM episode, and as far as the non traditional episodes Demon 79 was my favorite. Definitely a big departure from the norm though.
Well it sound like the season is at least worth giving a watch. Even if overall the season isn't the greatest, I still want to see the episodes that actually do land. When they make one of their bangers they're alway SO good.

I don't remember what happened to Scotty after the TNG episode where they found him preserved in a transporter buffer on a ship left on the outside of a dyson sphere.

I always wonder what happened to the ensign that Ashley Judd played. Dr Crusher had a word with the Chief and ensign what's-her-name was suddenly transferred to a Star Fleet farm in the beta quadrant.
