Same here.
No matter the shit day I had: when I come home and smell those very specific smells? I just start grinning like a fool in love.
It's the best and so simple. Just throw a bunch of shit in a bowl over rice, and it's delicious.
Actually, the veggies are all shortly boiled and seasoned as well. It makes such a delicate rich flavor, it's amazing.
The wifey even got compliments from the Korean ambassador in the Netherlands for her dish.
Oh I know lol. I'm Korean. I was just saying it's a simple dish to make and there's no one way to do it. It's always delicious!
It is ALWAYS good, you're right about that.
And to think this was the poor man's dish....
It's funny how a lot of the "poor man's" food from history is so good or has even become a luxury dish. Like lobster.
