That state that installing Linux is a slightly complicated process. Well maybe, but it’s still significantly easier and quicker than Windows.

I think if two no techy people were at the install screen of both windows and Linux, then Linux was be the easier of the two installers to go through. Especially if it were mint or Ubuntu.

I do think the fedora installer is a bit confusing, but it mainly due to the layout of the ui and how you have to select options.

Not sure, maybe. Definitely wouldn't be easier for arch or other terminal based installers.

You still need to understand that Microsoft needs to address their article to the majority of people. The majority of people is not able to use, let alone install linux.
