Over the last several days Sony have removed all mentions of the Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Remake from its social accounts and YouTube channels.

Announced as a PlayStation 5 console exclusive the game was being developed by Aspyr Media before they had the project taken away and it was handed to Saber Interactive.

Since then the parent company of both studios, Embracer Group has been restructuring to save cash which resulted in the closure of Saints Row developer Volition.

Sony removing all mentions of the game is a bigger worry though as they were publishing the game.

So while there has been no official announcement of the games cancellation it’s safe to assume we may never get to actually play it.

Man that break my heart. KOTOR was one of the best games I remember playing associated with Star Wars.

That sucks. It was one of the games I was looking forward to the most.

Yeah. It’s dead.

It was probably not going to be favorably compared to the other bioware ip of the year, BG3
