Got close sending Floyd to his death in Planet Fall.
My brother beat me at Pipemania, so I put my foot through a glass door panel.
I don't think I've ever had a "sad emotion" at all playing a game... I rarely have any emotion besides happy or angry playing games lol.
Devil May Cry back in 2001, and hellblade in 2017. There weee probably others that I had a response to, but those both had tears falling.
Braid definitely got me lumpy at the end.
The most recent and the most tears producing video game I played was The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood when you meet the trans woman and she transforms into her witch-self 😭
Recently.
The "Unlost World" storyline in Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail is rough if you have lost a loved one recently.
I don't think I've ever cried because of a game in the sense that the game itself made me cry, but the memories attached to some have.
"Last day of June" is very emotional. Didn't cry but I was close.
