Even author JK Rowling, who is known for her anti-trans sentiments, involved herself in the controversy.

I mean, you say that as if it's a surprise, as if she's not absolutely mentally deranged by the very thought of our existence. It's all she does nowadays. Every time a trans person is mentioned anywhere in the UK, she's there tweeting about it. Of course she got involved!
