Part of what I find frustrating about this administration is that I normally might have been willing to give the government the benefit of the doubt, no matter which party was in charge, that due diligence had been done by professional civil servants before making that decision, but I can no longer trust anything that it does.

It sounds like they're preparing to federally mandate some kinds of equipment on drones.
That could be a bad thing for the DIY drone community... or any drone manufacturer who can't pass federal inspections because some executive takes a personal interest in the outcome.
