For me, the switch to not buying US goods is relatively easy, as I have been practicing for years to buy more consciously and avoid products from China, Bangladesh etc. - exceptions prove the rule.

(Human beings are creatures of habit and perhaps need enormous price increases to question consumer behavior, the climate and the human suffering of those who pay the price for being in and greed is cool, local business insolvencies).

Because of the threatened tariff increases on July 10th, I recently tried to order 2 stickers โ€œBuy Lokal/Europe/From European + Free Software instead of Freewareโ€ to hand out at a demo. However, due to my weaknesses in dealing with Gimp and co, I failed with my uploads on all provider sites.

As the deadline for the tariff increases has been postponed until August, I'm throwing this idea of stickers, banners, cloth bags etc. into the room. Not as an individual campaign but as a Europe-wide campaign.

Raising awareness is on the ground.
