Fascism has come to America, wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross.

Documenting the crimes and corruption of the 47th president of the United States and his fascist minions.

Here we go again. This man is a traitor and a warmonger.

No one votes their way out of fascism. I hate this.

If only there was some way they could have known what he would do

Too little too late.

By the time (if) Republicans wake up enough to in any meaningful way oppose him, all that will mean will be that they'll be joining the rest of us in concentration camps.

Agreed. That's what's coming. Consider:

  1. Trump is a psychopath who enjoys hurting people.
  2. Trump has unchecked power due to GOP capitulation and SCOTUS rulings.
  3. MAGA proved they will suicide for Trump during Covid.
  4. The U.S. has built the first concentration camp in FL and is building a second one.
  5. Alaska has volunteered to build the third.
  6. The BBB has passed, funding ICE at levels greater than some country's military.
  7. Citizenship no longer protects you.
  8. DOGE has taken all of our sensitive data and fed it into their AI.

The U.S. is effectively a dictatorship and all the systems are now in place to round up the undesirables.

Do the math and act accordingly.

This is the first I'm hearing of the second and third camps. I feel the news isn't talking enough about the first one. The past few nights I turned on CNN and all I heard about was the trial of P Diddy and the big beautiful bill. IDGAF about P Diddy

Very true, the saddest thing is the actual numbers.

83-> 69-> 72 for on election, june 20-23, june 27-30 respectively

So even at its lowest value, a vast majority of reps still approve of trump .

It's a cult. Whatever you convince yourself will be enough to "wake them up" in a general sense, will not be enough. There is no "enough".

Fuck these articles. "Plummets"?! Kiss my ass. His approval dropped a fair bit, for now, end of story. It's like all the Tesla stock and Tesla purchase stories. Dropped a bit, for now. (Though Tesla is likely hurting for the long term!)

Lemming is a great word for this crowd. AI bad! YEAH! Trump bad! YEAH! Musk bad! YEAH! Windows bad! YEAH! Fire bad! YEAH! Off the cliff! YEAH!

I agree with all that, but fuck me, post interesting news and insightful commentary. And please god, not the same article 48 times over 3 days.

Remember kids! It's the Republicans that are in an insane echo chamber!

TL;DR: Trump's net approval rating is down from low-80s/high-70s to upper/lower 60s, depending on the recent poll you look at. That's net, meaning approval minus disapproval. So he's still seeing an approval rating among Republicans in the high-70s to 80s and disapproval hovering around 10-20%. Media are trying to pin the initial turning point as it happens and grab clicks. He is nowhere near threatened in his power in any sense of the word.

As the 2026 midterm elections approach

Is this article from the future? It's been barely 5 months of Trump's second term. Campaigning for midterms is already egregiously long and won't start for another 6 months. That's assuming we even have them. SCOTUS is moving at Mach speeds to remove any checks on executive authoritariansim. After 5 months, Trump can effectively deport anyone in the country to anywhere in the world at will with no repercussions. Do you think he's going to let something like democratic elections threaten his power?

It'll go back up once they start dying off from their hospitals closing.

[–] doc@fedia.io 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Their children are dying from measles. They still support him. Their parents, spouses, and children are being snatched up. They still support him.

You give these people too much credit assuming they have any capacity for empathy. Removing them from the voting rolls by death or disappearance won't do a thing to change this.

Those two items are such minuscule numbers vs. 333,000,000 Americans they don't even register. LOL, 1,000,000 dead of COVID didn't register. In fact, it made them more hard headed. And Fox isn't telling those stories to begin with.

Look at this recent bill. All the numbers liberals are screaming about are spread out over a decade. Nothing is happening tomorrow, the next day or next month, barely a blip next year. This is frog boiling at it's finest.

MILLIONS of MAGA will have to experience personal pain before anything registers. By the time the pain hits, they'll be programmed to blame anyone and anything else.
