[EU/UK] Stop Killing Games:

The consumer movement to stop game publishers from destroying older games with kill switches.

The goal is to reach 1 million signatures in the EU so that the european parliament will respond to the initiative that then leads to regulation that requires end-of-life plans for games to stay playable.

I assume this is for EU citizens only to sign?

Yes, you need to be an EU citizen to sign and provide identity verification.

UK citizens have a separate "parallel" petition to sign.

Non-EU citizens can't sign unfortunately, but they can still help by showing support and spreading the work, every bit helps :)

As an American who can't vote, I'm rooting for the success of this.

Two reasons:

  1. It's a good cause.

  2. Because fuck PirateSoftware or Thor or whatever his stupid name is
