I’ve been playing space marine remastered, some decent mindless fun. Definitely shows its age in terms of gameplay, not that it’s bad but definitely of its time.
games
Tabletop, DnD, board games, and minecraft. Also Animal Crossing.

A whole lot of Anbennar.
Arg-Ôrdstun is fun if you like a whole lot of noble rebels, assuming direct control of Aul-Dwarov, being completely out of touch and creating a monopoly of precious gems. Its certainly more fun than Orlghovar, whole thing was kind of a let down tbh, a whole lot of pain for some fairly strong buffs, but nothing quite worth the effort. Though my baseline of "strong buffs" is Ovdal Kanzad.
And the only other country to impress me was Feiten with its crazy modifiers (+6 movement speed to fleets? You can sail around the world in 4 months! Don't forget to click "the funny decision" to instantly win any siege with your special merc comapny.) I should play Feiten again.
Life stresses got me wanting a win... so I've gone back to Master of Orion 1.
Fuck the AI "diplomacy" to all the hells though...
Let me rock out (Silicoids) in peace. Its not like you're gonna get too much outta that irradiated planet Mr. Bulrathi, ain't to trees and berries for you bears, why you declaring war on me for "expanding" all the fuckin time.
I got an Anbernic RG28XX as a gift for myself recently after someone here mentioned them and I've fallen in love with it, so I've just been putting random shit on it for quick pick up and play sessions. Mostly I've been trying the UFO 50 games on it since it's basically the perfect collection for a pocket handheld IMO. Some of the games in the collection run poorly (no Grimstone ) but most feel great. I want to start a longer game too but I'm not sure what I want to commit to yet. Right now I'm leaning towards Madou Monogatari (the Mega Drive version) but I'm also thinking maybe Dragon Quest or Moon? IDK yet.
