G*rmany should have been civilized, if only the Romans realized what trouble giving up on the cold, wretched province would result in 😭

I wonder why they couldn't do it. I'm just a normal guy with no military training whatsoever, but I've conquered Germany and Britannia multiple times in Rome: Rotal War and it wasn't difficult at all.
And what about Parthia? They just have three cities, and their economy is in shambles.
Sounds to me like they didn't even try smh
Explanation: Germanicus and Drusus were the two sons of Tiberius, the second Roman emperor. Both were regarded as successful generals and competent politicians, but unfortunately died earlier than anticipated in AD 19 and 23, respectively. An illness (maybe poison?) depleted the former's health bar, while the latter was (almost certainly) assassinated by Sejanus, the man in charge of the Praetorians during Tiberius's reign and the one responsible for transforming them into the evil political tool that would threaten the stability of the empire for years to come.
The death of both inflicted a toll on Tiberius's already fragile mental health. After his death, Caligula became emperor, and a bad one at that.
EDIT: I seemed to remember that Germanicus died after falling from his horse, but Wikipedia disagrees and I can't for the life of me remember who died that way. Now I've been nerd sniped and won't be able to function correctly until I've browsed the Wikipedia entries of every Roman citizen to find the person I'm looking for. Please send help.
EDIT 2: Ah, I had him mixed with Tiberius's brother Drusus, who ironically is another great candidate for this meme. Like, seriously, there was only one, single timeline where Caligula would become emperor, and we apparently live in that one. You can't convince me that it wasn't an inside job by some time travellers who really hated Rome and wanted it to burn.

Time traveler just really wanted to see a horse become consul
You know what? I changed my stance. The time traveller was right.
