BC @ WPG

Wow, that was an interesting one. It was looking like the Bombers had BC's number up until that fantastic Lions drive at the end of the first half. After that, it felt like anything could happen.

I thought the Bombers' defensive line was pretty good overall, despite giving up a couple of real big opportunities to the Lions. Streveler was a pleasant surprise - we'd have to see more, but this was a really promising start for him, especially his passing game.

Very unfortunate injuries on both sides - hopefully Oliveira and Rourke are both back in action before too long.

Lastly...any game in which a single is scored is a good one in my books (do not quote me on this).

What about the outstanding running game from Peterson?

Felt like that guy came outta nowhere! Was really upset that Olivera went down so early but pleasantly surprised at the depth of the Bombers offense. Hope we can keep this momentum into the next week @ Edmonton!

Yeah, that really didn't sink in for me until some time had passed, but he was a real star. If the team really is that deep and it's not a mirage...

Thursday's match should be fun! The Als and Riders might surge to 2-0 this week. I'm hoping the Argos can win and redeem themselves after last week's loss to the Als
Go football!
