So I've just started a game of Wildsea (green apocalypse happens and now everyone lives on top of a sea of trees and sales in chainsaw ships).

I'm running my players through the intro module to search for a library ship then going to let them have at the world.

Probably going to give them a few options for direction: Foxloft - where every ecological niche is filled with foxes. Dragons Reach - as above but with plant dragons and lots of lizards. (Got the field guide to floral dragons and it just fits so well with Wildsea). The Gau (mushroom people) lands.

Wildsea is very player driven so I'm not sure what my players are going to be interested in yet as we're only 1 session into this game, they have picked a ship for exploring though so probably plenty of travel.

Anyone else run Wildsea? Any favourite locations or themes to include in an exploration game?

I’ve read the book, think about doing a game and forgot about it. Most of the game reviewed by Quinn’s Quest I’ve been impulse bought 🤷‍♀️

Just want to say that I want update

Same, I had Wildsea and Delta green before watching the reviews but I'm definitely considering Delta green as my next game now. He also sold me on Mothership which was great fun to run. Most of the characters even survived.

I'm loving Wildsea so far, just immaculate vibes. First session was exploring a new port and meeting the local colour. My players have made:

A Gau, Island born, stargazer (can't remember the book terms without looking it up). A shark lady (an extra race from the expansion book which I did not know existed until they found a website to help with character gen, that race is right at the back of the book and not fleshed out), rootless , hacker (like path cutter explorer). And an Ironbound, anchored, steep (a ghost, piloting a robot body made or scrap who makes tea and potions, our groups face character)
