I'm a new user of Lemmy - it's a little rough, but I'd really like to get off Reddit. Keep people moving!

I've dropped to watching the Jets - and watching the Coilers with the hopes that they lose.

Yeah, he's a damn good goalie.

If the rest of the team could keep the puck away from him a bit better, they would be unbeatable

What about Toronto? As a Flames fan, I don't have the rival hatred, but I know if they win, the rest of the country will never hear the end of it.

Full disclosure, my dad was from Toronto, so I watched a lot of the Leafs growing up and have a bit of a soft spot for them.

Ideally, maybe a Winnipeg - Toronto final with Winnipeg winning?

Too many people are "cheering for canada" even if it means cheering for their mortal enemies... It's not the olympics!

Jets are fine, but cgy and edm should NEVER cheer for each other

Same with tor/mtl fans. Should under no circumstances cheer for the other

Ottawa absorbed our hate for each other, now we just cheer for both
