What's a decent charitable organisation that accepts DOGE? (lemmy.world)

I want to get rid of the last of my dogecoin that is on a no longer supported wallet on my old phone before I scrap it. It's only about $10 AUD worth.

It's the last of my crypto (ironically it was also the first of my crypto) and then I no longer have any active wallets and my balances will be zero.

But I'm not converting it to something else, the recipient needs to accept doge as it is.

Bonus points if the charity is animal related

I will also settle for a picture of your dog and your word that you'll give them a pat and a treat on my dime if no charity is suitable.

You could just not retain it? Delete account login details and forget about it?

I have 1,000 Cummies just for a gag. I don't expect it'll ever rise above what I paid for it and I'm not looking.

If you are getting a new phone, destroy that one. Burn it, run it over with your car, put it in a blender. Whatever. If you don't want the crypto, don't pass it on. End the cycle, and have fun doing it.
