Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

...as much as I love linux, I find that it's way too common to name software completely removed from its function.

what does toy-like mean?
of the same package on Flathub the main ones i had issues with was Kdenlive, Zoom, and OBS.
