Main thing I've done is gathering a lot of information, I think there are some groceries I skipped on but I'm not really a person who buys the same out of habit anyway. I've been wanting to switch email providers for a while now, so I've started that process. Same with Google services, deleted a bunch of apps (like Google Maps) and I think the next big thing is try and switch os (or further degoogle android) and dip my toes in Linux again after not using it for 10 years or so.

I left Facebook and Instagram years ago and I feel that really improved my life and I feel the tech changes I'm doing now will do the same.

Using my mailbox.org email more and more. Thinking about switching to https://addy.io/ , the project is self hostable, there was a post about it this week

I actually blitz changed so much that there isn't much I can really do anymore.

All that's left is: Discord, Youtube, Whatsapp, Twitch and a bit of scrolling reddit on my shadowbanned account (there's just more buyfromeu content there) and installing GrapheneOS on my pixel and Linux on my pc (which I'll be doing when I get a new one so I can set up dual booting while still having a functional one for work/leasure while getting that figured out) Oh and getting home assistant figured out once I've moved, currently using google home for my entire 1 smart lamp

Also, currently I'm driving a Toyota Yaris lease car from my company. I can switch whenever due to flex leasing but I just can't find an EU made car that's as good for the price. Closest pick I have is a VW Polo for a bit over 100 euros extra a month

Started changing my social media, and slowly switching over email servers

@Blaze Aside from the Google Play services still on the back of my android phone, there's not much connecting me to the U.S. digital services. I've used Ecosia for years (yes, I know they use both Google and Microsoft services, but they're working with Qwant to change that), I never used Facebook, and deleted Instagram after it went to shit under meta. I use Aptoide instead of Play Store. Only had to get rid of WhatsApp and YouTube recently. Which I did. Is there something I'm not thinking of?

@Blaze oh yeah, I started using HereWego and Mapy instead of Google Maps. But I didn't use Google Maps that much so I don't notice that much of a difference tbh. I find the hard part will be hardware when it needs to be replaced sometime in the future... If I buy a smartphone again in the future, which I'm considering not to and just getting a flip phone, but if I do I'll get a Fairphone with eOS. The laptop will be either a Tuxedo or an Insys.
