A responsible person should always have a stockpile of items they need to survive, like food.

That said, today is the second best time to prepare.

A whole bunch of us already stocked up on basic necessities and consumer goods in the months after the election

I'm currently sitting on at least a years worth of laundry detergent, several years of dryer sheets, and and plenty of dishwasher tabs.

I'm already stocked on food

Don't forget backup power - I just grabbed a decent LFP power station from gearscouts.com last month and feel way more prepared for whatever supply chain bs happens next.
