And plenty of perfectly reasonable people bought one quite some time ago when things were relatively normal.

My dad was thinking about buying a Lucid but they told him their trade-in value for his 2019 model 3 with 16k miles was $2,000. I imagine there's a lot of people who bought one and they're kinda stuck with it now due to how much value it's lost.
