I’m not a diehard liberal by any means. I’m the kind of person who will vote for who I think has the best chance of keeping the country moving.

Before all this crap with Trump, I most likely would have voted for the cons.

Now, with all this rhetoric and Trudeau no longer in office, when I look at the qualifications between the 2 top candidates, Carney wins by a long shot.

I’m less worried about carney being able to deal with Trump, but have faith that he won’t bend over for him.

Where I think Carney really shines at this point is making deals with the EU. He has the ability to talk to those leaders since he’s worked over there for years.

He has the ability to deal with Trump and business since he’s been there for so many years working in the private sector.

He doesn’t seem to me to be the type of person that will sell us out to the lowest bidder. He may not be a careen politician, but he’s worked in politics and the private sector, and not being a career politician is a good thing in this case.

Unfortunately the cons current leaders claim to fame is being the first Canadian to ever qualify for a pension at the age of 31.

I don’t know if Carney is the guy after Trump to run our country, but I think he’s the guy we need right now to navigate this mess.

My 2 cents. No matter what though, just make sure you get out and vote so we don’t end up in a position like the US.

VOTE. VOTE. VOTE!!
