It looks like you need a smartphone to use Hudd so those who currently access FB using a computer will not be able to use Hudd (in that way). So Hudd, in that sense cannot be seen as a replacement for FB.
It does not appear to be federated like Mastodon nor inter-operable with other social networks. In order to succeed it will need to become "the new FaceBook" displacing FB from its market position like FB did to MySpace. Even if only within Norway.
