Since I'm careful about the services I use, I switched my phone keyboard to Typewise, a Swiss company.

They have an AI assistant function with OpenAI, is the data subject to Swiss or American regulations?

ClosedAI. Even if somehow the swiss claim otherwise, your data is being sent to a an American company which has as it’s name the opposite of how they are operating (there no open source) operated by a CEO which doesn’t not appear to have a moral compass, and from a country where the rule of law is under attack and most likely won’t matter. Anything that is sent to AI APIs is stored on the other end. Even de-identified, trivial stuff. You’re giving them analytics on how you use their product, what you’re interested in, and you help building customer profiles for very targeted ads down the track.
