Personally, I don't want the UK fucking with my phone's browser. It's very safe. I've never had malware. Not that it's impossible. But the zero-days necessary to compromise the phone are so valuable that an ordinary person like me is relatively safe. They save that shit for journalists and dissidents.

I absolutely love it when all my chrome PWAs suddenly disappear on my Android.. I'm sure it's unintentional.. I mean they don't have an otherwise useless market place they need to justify..

It's really shit on iOS. All browsers feel like a reskinned version of Safari. It's Apple though and we know they like to control users as much as possible. At least on Android Firefox is totally independent and you can run extensions.

You can run firefox/chrome extensions on the Orion browser on ios though it still uses webkit.

Some apps on Android still open Chrome, even though I have Firefox set as default. I'm guessing those are developer mistakes/oversights. Still makes me sad though.
