The best part is, SpaceX is funded in large part by government contracts, aka NASA.

edit: actually it makes sense. Gut the workforce, funnel that money straight into the pockets of Mr. Inauguration-Sieg-Heil.

I thought they were better than this. I no longer want to be affiliated with them now. What a shame.

I hesitate to badmouth the agency because it has so many sincere talented people working there, but also, NASA management as a whole has been dogshit since about the 1980s. Like real dogshit, "should be in prison" type of thing. Read about the Challenger disaster investigations, things like people warning that the launch was unsafe and shouldn't continue, and being told to "Take off your engineering hat and put on your management hat."
