Denke ich auch. Nichts wirklich Neues. Aber dennoch wichtig für die Leute die denken ein VPN würde sie vor Tracking beschützen.

I thought browsers like librewolf are able to block fingerprinting, or at least the common types.

Safari too. It prevents the attachment of tracking headers, simplifies the appearance of system configurations, and will block your IP address from known trackers without using a VPN.

From what I understand, safari and Firefox don’t block the types of tracking that Google is switching to. Things like your window size, canvas fingerprint, etc.
