Update: I'm in contact with a PA state rep regarding this bill and they requested a draft of a social media post that they can share to rally people to fight this bill. This is not my forte. Would any of yinz please help me find the words?

One of the site admins of lemmy.ml, nutomic, is also a transphobe, while hexbear is ran mostly by trans people and has a very active trans community.

Yeah, so hopefully this won't pass. I already reached out to my Senator (who is a Democrat) to press that this bill is horrible and he should fight against it.
But it says it provides for gender-neutral bathrooms? Everything else about it sucks, and Mastriano should actually eat shit and die, and shouldn't all bathrooms be gender-neutral already?
It says they're OK if they're single-stall. I imagine that this is more intended to cover small businesses that only have a single bathroom rather than being a sign of acceptance.
You're probably right, they're just preemptively covering their asses.
