While I commend the dedication, I just don’t see him ever finding it. Or the information being recoverable if he did.
That disk has seen some shit, literally trash, heavy machinery, water and other damaging conditions. Hell he could have already found it, corrupt or broken and just decided it wasn’t his. Or that’s what his future holds.
And that’s if it doesn’t get swiped by someone else. That’s a good bit of money, worth running off with and at least trying to crack into.
