Could IP get leaked during a Mullvad update? During the update, the killswitch and/or lockdown mode seems to temporarily turn off and the padlock icon goes unlocked and red (zerobytes.monster)

I have both kill switch and lockdown mode enabled in the settings. When I update my packages with sudo dnf upgrade and Mullvad gets updated, I notice that during the update, the padlock icon in the system tray becomes unlocked and the red unsecure color instead of the usual green and locked icon. It made me wonder if my real IP becomes seen if I have tabs on my web browser open during the update, because it looks like killswitch and/or lockdown mode gets disabled for that brief couple of seconds
