What species is this? Some sort of hamster?

I'm not sure what the english name for it is, according to dict.cc it's called eurasian hamster, european hamster, black-bellied hamster or field hamster. They are much bigger than most people expect, about the size of a guinea pig. And yes, they are extremely cute!

Took a bit of searching to find a picture of one with a human for scale, but wow, they are big!
