"I am a computer scientist, I can write elaborate grammars for processing data, I require only a mere computer."

King: (scratches chin)

Later:

"You! Move those line of rocks to the right and discard the remainder. You! Remove those line rocks except to put one where one was not there previously. You! Put down that rock! I said put it down! Please...!"

Three-body problem energy.

I think it might be closer to Children of Ruin territory - I can imagine an animal trainer of some sort (or entomologist if one exists at the time) to train their animals to form logic gates and wires.

I mean hell, if Game of Life can do it, why not ants.

We progressed so much in the future, now we throw the scientist's and engineer's into the pit of despair along with the philosophers.

Looks like lemmy.ml is resizing too aggressively. Can you link to the actual comic?

Sweet. FYI you can just use the mastodon image url instead of re-uploading

I dont know about that. There was a point a few weeks ago where I stopped linking images because Lemmy would try to cache them automatically, but those cache links never worked

lemmy in general? There's some instances which enabled caching which caused problems with some image hosting services, but generally I've never noticed an issue hotlinking mastodon images.

Well, at least the king is committed to not increasing oppression. Seems half decent.
