What I often do (albeit subconsciously) is, I focus on a three or four, maybe even five of them, and when I get tired of one of them (like I always do), I dial it back, start another, and slowly phase out the old one. This cycle takes a few months, maybe even half a year, rarely one year. The hobbies that stick around this long are stuff that I'll be doing for years to come, and all the others are hobbies that I might come back to every once in a while. And if I don't come back to them, at least they brought me joy for a short while, and that is all that matters :3
Now what I do is have hobbies then never touch them again.
Yay, depression!
