It's not okay to have any exploitative labor, but this is from cobalt mining, yes? Tesla is the only EV company that is moving to cobalt free batteries, in part to avoid the ethical issues with cobalt. You can say they could have owned and inspected their own mines earlier to avoid child labor, but it seems like they're doing more than the other EV companies.

Not the only, in fact many major ev manufacturers are moving to solid state batteries in the near future. Nissan is the first company that comes to mind, but I know there others as well
