1. Relevant commentary on your own dull life. Posts should be about your own dull, lived experience. This is our most important rule. Direct questions, random thoughts, comment baiting, advice seeking, many uses of "discuss" rarely comply with this rule.

2. Original, Fresh, Meaningful Content.

3. Avoid repetitive topics.

4. This is not a search engine
Use a search engine, a tradesperson, Reddit, friends, a specialist Facebook group, apps, Wikipedia, an AI chat, a reverse image search etc. to answer simple questions or identify objects. Also see rule 1, “comment baiting”.

There are a number of content specific communities with subject matter experts who can help you.

Some other communities to consider before posting:

5. Keep it dull. If it puts us to sleep, it’s on the right track. Examples of likely not dull: jokes, gross stuff (including toes), politics, religion, royalty, illness or injury, killing things for fun, or promotional content. Feel free to post these elsewhere.

6. No hate speech, sexism, or bullying No sexism, hate speech, degrading or excessively foul language, or other harmful language. No othering or dehumanizing of anyone or negativity towards any gender identity.

7. Proofread before posting. Use good grammar and punctuation. Avoid useless phrases. Some examples: - starting a post with "So" - starting a post with pointless phrases, like "I hope this is allowed" or “this is my first post” Only share good quality, cropped images. Do not share screenshots of images; share the original image.

But now I'm in bed questioning my decision.

I generally don't lunch (or breakfast) - I'm old and don't need much nutrition and my evening drinkies provide more calories than needed. If I lunch than dinner is a no-go. If I breakfast than perhaps a snack at night is in order. Don't question your decision making paradigm - you got this - just go with it.

Now, by "drinkies," are you referring to adult beverages, or nutritional shakes? 🤣

Honest question, cause the shakes are really good and I drink them for breakfast sometimes.

Im still not quite old enough to need the little cans of Ensure. Yes, adult beverages indeed.

I mean I don't need them, but they taste good and wet the belly 😂. Thanks for clearing it up 👍🏻

vienna sausages w a bit of mustard and saltines eaten over the kitchen sink while staring out the window into the night is my preferred vienna sausage setting

I never eat until like 5 then I get a snack at 11 before bed. Do it!

Ah bro I just ate cereal and posted about it, I'm sorry bro. I hope you've eaten or fallen asleep by now.

Also, I typically skip breakfast, maybe eat a few crackers with peanut butter as a mid-morning snack. Moderate lunch, and then I vary my dinner - sometimes I eat cereal or something similar, sometimes I eat way too much fruit, sometimes I eat a real home-cooked meal.

I'm good with one large meal a day.

I just got back from a huge grocery run with several dinner choices. Then my teen asked for lunch and I made tuna sandwiches before I noticed it’s 4pm.

Now I have to decide: second sandwich or make dinner later
