It's still in active development so yeah it might lack things. But at least the stats are way more accurate than whatever lastfm does.

Based on recent developement, they seems to shift more to discovery rather than stats. I don't think they will ever redesign the recap.

What makes listenbrainz more accurate?

Oh I thought it was the design of the whole app. My bad.

As for the stats, the scrobbles aren't based on text only, and you can manually link them to the correct MusicBrainz data. So different scrobbles titles can easily be set to the correct track, and artists with the same names are correctly separated
