In the end they agreed to lock !television@lemmy.world

That's excellent. I'd like to see this done with !redlettermedia@lemmy.world in favour of !redlettermedia@sh.itjust.works since the other admins have been inactive for a year. But it's too niche to put in the effort.

You can at least post on the LW version to promote the SJW version, so that people interested would know your alternative is there
