I'm sorry you lost your dog. That's the biggest tragedy of having a dog- they live so much shorter lives than we do.
true, it's devastating to have to come to terms with the end. but i hate to think of her outliving me and not understanding, waiting by the door every day, for nothing
She looks like a very good girl who was very loved.
She was for sure.
Such a cute photo. I've been trying to take more photos of my pupper. He's 13 now, and anytime I'm not sure if I'll ever be ready to lose him.
Stafordshire terriers are like the most loving and affectionate breed, so it wouldn’t surprise me that you had such a pleasant time with her. I know mine brings me unmatched joy and farts every day.
Stafordshire terriers
You can also have pleasant time with other dogs, like the one in the picture :)
The dog in the picture is a stafordshire terrier, I know this because that dog looks just like mine, who is in fact a Staffy.
I didn't really want to get into this, but Lucy was a mutt. She definitely was part lab. We think possibly also part shorthaired pointer, but we never knew for sure.
But she was definitely a lab. Smart as a lab, wanted to endlessly play fetch...
Not even close
Old dogs with grey beards are the cutest.
I love finds like that. I dug an old phone out of a drawer the other day and realized I left an SD card in it. All kinds of pictures of my old dogs on there.
She looks pretty chill in this photo! She was lucky to have you as her owner.
I hope so. I definitely made mistakes, but it was love at first sight when I went to the shelter to get a dog. I made myself look at every other dog in the shelter and went back to her again and we were inseparable after that. But if she lived to that old age, I think I did something right.
Listening to Three Dog Night, no doubt.
She preferred George Clinton. She always had a hope of being atomic.
She looks a lot like my own old chap.
Could she be part Beauceron too?
She could have been anything really. She was an adoption from a shelter. She hat a lot of lab features and even the shelter called her a lab mix. Other than that, who knows?
The only thing we knew about her before I adopted her is that her owners were weird as fuck because her original names was Justice.
You gave your dog an iPod?
You didn't?
Ohmigod look at that chonky boi. Crazy to think we used to keep those in our pockets with wires running up to earbuds in our ears. How the times have changed.
Lucy was adorable and seems like she was a good dog—no, a great dog
