Hopefully it's the right community, I didn't find more appropriate so post this. I'll remove the post if it isn't.

I'm not really sure if it's a Lemmy or Liftoff problem, but I can't post a message with the words version-number inside angle brackets (<>).

The text just keeping to disappear.

Is it a bug?

Recently there have been what are effectively emergency changes to Lemmy to strip out HTML content to protect against security issues. Angle brackets are used for HTML tags so probably get stripped out. You might be able to use the HTML code for them & g t ; and & l t ; (remove spaces).
