I am honestly amazed that there is no completely FOSS printer existing that runs on libre firmware and is build from 3D printed parts. I wonder how hard a project like this would be?

I think the priting head/ink mechanisms are prob proprietary. I'll see if I can find those modules on aliexpress or something. I was looking to use Misumi PM (permanent magnet) stepper motors in an experimental 3d printer. They tend to use those in printers I remember...
