I'm not sure if that would be a massive downgrade or if United in general was too mediocre to properly rate him.

DDG and Kepa are being rumored.
I guess maybe they could try to gazump Raya from arsenal depending what he signed as he hasn't completed his medical yet.
Kepa also wanted by Bayern, who supposedly were interested in Rulli as well.
With relatively few options at a top level, an injury like this can have interesting knock-on effects on other players' careers as well.
