Almost feel sorry for this guy, working so hard to create an echo chamber all by themselves.

That community should be renamed “links to the craziest and most unfounded shit I can find” but that doesn’t have the same ring as “conservative”

"Do you suffer from an increasing lack of Copium? Tired of being asked to take personal accountability or put critical thought into your opinions? Come to Conservative where it's always the Liberals' fault!"

“Do you believe everything you read or hear on a podcast? Want to skip the hassle of thinking for yourself and be told how to feel about issues that don’t directly affect you? If you’re angry with nowhere to direct that rage, come to Conservative!”

You would think being alone would make for some good echoes

Meta discussion - the existence of this post makes the wonder what moderation tools on lemmy are like? And if there's systems in place to deal with unwanted content.

https://join-lemmy.org/docs/en/users/04-moderation.html

  1. Users report posts & comments
  2. Communities have mods
  3. Instances have admins
  4. Instances that disagree on how moderation should be done can block the other

Edit: Changed "unmoderated communities" to "unwanted content" to clarify my intent to discuss moderation in general

Do I really have to endure crazies here aswell?

You can block users and there's a big red "Block Community" button at the top right.

You don't have to endure shit, maybe stop brigading other people's communities if you don't like them. You can't possibly willingly search up a community for an ideology you don't agree with, then complain about having to see them.
