Utterly unsurprising.
Back in the old days we would make people disappear when we thought they might be working with the Russians.
I keep hearing old folks talking about the good old days, maybe disappearing Russian agents is what they want to come back 🤷♂️

Yeah… my suspicion is that someone wanted him seen there. It doesn’t really impact him vis-à-vis his audience, but it does a certain amount of flexing for the regime
We don't believe "A Telegram channel said" when it's pro-russian bullshit (rightfully so), so we shouldn't believe "A Telegram channel said" when it fits our world view either. Just saying.
They've got literal pictures of him at the Bolshoi. I don't think it's a contestable point.
