The Netherlands is absolutely doing a fascism speedrun it seems and the student protests are highlighting it tremendously. Never in my life have I seen people justify police beating down a protest against genocide with even politicians intimidating journalists.
Like, over here universities are getting occupied as well but apart from some mellow reactions there hasn't been any trouble (yet). The Netherlands is just collectively losing it. But seeing the election results that shouldn't be a surprise.

The Netherlands had the highest rate of voluntary enrollments in the SS. It's the most openly racist country I've ever seen and I'm older than most.
