I (26f) got hired on as a graphic design intern this past March, after a 3 month trial period, my boss (40m) said he was really happy with my work and wanted to bring me on full time with pay. I wasn’t getting paid before and working like 10-20 hours a week- mostly creating advertising visuals, stuff for social media.
Since June I’ve been working almost full time, I used to work hybrid 50/50 office remote but my boss keeps pushing me to come in more and more. He says we need to have creative meetings every morning, but when I get there it’s just me and him and he just talks about his life. Lately he’s been texting me super late, after 10PM. It’s not explicit but it’s not work related either. It was all mostly neutral until he asked me to get drinks after work one day, which I politely declined, but he laughed at me and told me I was being silly. As I walked away he grabbed my wrist and asked me again to get a drink. I didn’t know what to do and lied about having plans. Now I feel awkward going into work.
It's not sexual, but it is harassment.
