Also the idea that things will change just because they go to a different country… Like it’s not possible to make decent money or pickup women in America or wherever they currently are, but it would work in China for some reason.
It's literally just Asian people fetishization combined with a crippling low self-esteem. Sometimes when I'm in a dry streak or feeling down I'll revisit /r9k/ just to remind myself how much worse it could be
Honestly, being a foreigner has cachet. It's at least a +1 to charisma.
