I think it would be a shame if ‘real’ race tracks like the Red Bull Ring would have to be turned into pseudo street tracks only to avoid the track limit issue. I feel that, if the FIA could improve the detection method into something that’s automated, instantaneous and delivered straight to the drivers’ dash, we would see only a fraction of the infringements and penalties we had now.
