We don’t have to go much deeper into this, but I don’t think it’s possible to list many governments that did not commit genocide and human rights oppression.

Nor did I say that there was. But there's a difference when you actively support when a government is committing human rights violations. Every government is flawed. Some are immensely more flawed than others. I can criticize my own government and at the same time recognize that it is far better than what is currently happening with the government of say, North Korea.
