Only with the $90 epic edition. Feels like a scummy move in a subscription based mmo. It's scummy at all times but even more so in this situation.

For all of the good things they've announced about Wow at Blizcon this one thing undoes a lot of it. Launch day for a Wow xpac is something everyone should experience together for better or worse.

I'm hopeful that they'll reverse this decision and compensate people with a free pet or something instead for ordering the epic edition.
