Hi Firefox Team, what you would say to make an UI adjustments regarding the https://arc.net/ which becomes very popular :) it could be a great opportunity to get some Windows and Linux users back, since they released Mac only so far. Also it's based on Chromium and it seems it is not an open-source yet. cc @mozilla @firefox @FirefoxNightly

Imo it's very unlikely that firefox will perform such a huge change.

BUT that doesn't mean that you may not write another UI. The Firefox team would probably welcome it.

Having the url at the side is interesting. Usually I want to see where I am but I bet the majority of users don't. Such a small bar would be sufficient.

Close, minimize buttons on the left are strange to me but that should be handled by the OS theme anyway and not by a specific app.

We don't need every app to behave different

Tabs and bookmarks on the left aren't really that new. You may have a look into sideberry or other extensions.

Especially firefox-gnome-theme and tab center reborn achieve most of what you want
